The TownSteel GW7 wireless gateway effortlessly connects the wireless door lock to the access system, enabling smooth transmission of new access authorizations to the doors through wireless communication. This ensures the seamless integration of wireless door components into the access system, prioritizing both simplicity and security.
Installing the wireless gateway into the platform based access system is a straightforward process. This allows you to quickly, securely, and cost-effectively expand existing access solutions or install new ones.
FEATURES
- Easy to issue and withdraw access rights wirelessly, door status and access events retrievable at any time, alarm sounds if a door is forced (depending on components). device software updated wirelessly, remote approval of access for selected doors, automatic status notifications (e.g. battery status)
- Access authorization can be granted or revoked within seconds right from your desk. Notifications of status information such as ‘Incorrect entries’ or ‘Battery low’ are sent immediately by the gateway to your system administrator.
- One TownSteel wireless gateway GW7 supports up to 48 access components in a 100 foot radius.
- Data transmitted between the gateway and door components is encrypted immediately at a network and application level using AES. Encryption is generated by the system and is unique for each system.
- Indoor installation can be carried out on either walls or ceilings simply by using two screws. Thanks to PoE (Power over Ethernet), only one Ethernet cable is attached (plug & play) using the provided PoE splitter; Optional power supply provided that connects to 110 VAC outlet.
- The gateway and wireless components are put into operation using the access system and maintenance app.
- Software for TownSteel wireless devices and the gateway GW7 can be conveniently updated from your desk. The gateway ensures that these updates are transmitted wirelessly and without error to the wireless components.
